Intermediate-High Writing: Full Class

In this lesson, we start with our daily fluency writing activity to get students engaged. After that, we move into a warm-up exercise, followed by an overview of the lesson objectives. Next, we review key concepts before introducing the different types of supporting sentences. Students then participate in a hands-on group activity where they identify topic sentences, supporting sentences, and concluding sentences within a paragraph and reassemble a paragraph that has been cut apart. To wrap up, each group assesses the decisions made by other groups, discussing whether they agree or disagree with their choices and explaining their reasoning.
